NEW Record! 130 people attended the STUFF-ication workshop at the Tigard Library. That’s a LOT of folks wanting to get to a clear place!
STUFF-i-ca-tion: noun – Condition caused by objects crammed and stored at home or office. Impedes energy flow; leads to imbalance and general discontent of self.
Learn how to go from chaos to clear!
“Thanks for the POSITIVE UPBEAT presentation! It was so nice to come to a presentation that wasn’t a ‘sales pitch.’ You inspired me with your energy!”
We live in a culture of mass consumerism. Most of us have more stuff than we will ever need and many of us have no idea of how much stuff we actually have - let alone what to do with it all.
“Jane, your presentation was stellar! So many others have commented how much they enjoyed it and how many were motivated to clear out some of their things!”
Here are a few of the signs that you may be suffering from STUFF-ication:
- a garage so filled you can’t walk through it or get your car in anymore
- a basement crammed with boxes and things you haven’t used in years
- off site storage
- more than one junk drawer
- closets/storage areas that are overflowing
- boxes and stacks of photos
- rooms that are undefined, stale or crowded
- rooms that feel uncomfortable or are unused
- feelings of fatigue and/or indifference
The emotional and physical toll we take from STUFF-ication is a serious one. We burden ourselves with the weight of objects and items that have long since served their purpose yet we continue to hang on tight and even buy more. There is a way out. It’s called LETTING GO.
